Menlo Park, N. J.
Dear Sir:--
Mr. Edison has received your letter of the 10th inst. regarding his permission to farm the ground at Menlo Park back of the Post Office and Laboratory another year. Mr. Edison says that he will give you this permission, if you will consent to pay [to maintain?] the ground. Please let us hear from you in this matter.
