My dear Sirs:-
By direction of Mr. Edison I refer to you the enclosed letter, received by [us?] him from E. A. Phipson of London, in regard to the orthography of the word “Mimeograph.” Mr. Phipson asserts that the word as at present spelled is incorrect, and suggests that it be altered in accordance with his suggestion in the interest of correct etymology.
