As per your request I beg to enclose you herewith the Certificate of your mothers death.
You may think I am slow in not sending this [sooner?] but I assure you I have done my best. I first [had to write?] to Canada to Mrs Stilwell and find out who the [illegible text] was then I had to send to New Brunswick and then to Trenton and at last I reached the right parties
