Madam:-
I sent a messenger to Menlo Park this day to see about the Buildings and he reports them not in very good Condition and that you donot live there but have rented the place to some one else. so I have this day given the entire charge of the buildings and lands to Mr Thomas J. McConnell who lives in my daughter's house.
Please deliver any keys which to have to him, and thanking you for your trouble I remain
