Dear Miss Edison:-
As per request of your Father I beg to enclose you herewith draft No. [437?] which represents Nine thousand dollars This $9000.00/100 includes the payment due you on your Mother's Estate of $4776.54/100 and also represents an advance of $4223.46/100 made you by your Father, out of his personal money.
If you go to the Deutsche Bank of Berlin and take the United States Bonds which you desire to sell they will no doubt instruct you as to how they should be endorsed for sale. If they will not sell them for you and buy the German Bonds which you require they will no doubt recommend you to some good reliable Bankers and Brokers
Kindly acknowledge receipt of the above and oblige
