Upton writes me that the plated carbons for Faure battery in England were not as successful as hoped; will try again with another form. Logan is making your emg chalks. Bar armature didn't test as well as expected. Big dynamo waiting for POrter engine, promised a fortnight ago but Porter "as usual has disappeared." Hope to ship you machine this week. CHANGE OF DATE TO JANY 30. Just rcd yours of 16? and 18 Jany. Going to meet TAE at MP and will try to get replies from him. Called on your landlord.
