[MB061] Letter, 1881-1882
Editor's Notes
Wants power of atty returned fr NY, as told by Lowrey. Tone of letter is exapserated. Hesitation of "your New York friends induce me to think that they have not sufficient confidence neither in myself nor in yourself and Mr. Bailey since they are afraid to send you powers, I therefore have decided to pay nothing before the 3 societies will be really constituted; I am quite ready to constitute them; it is your business to procure yourself sufficient powers."
