Title

[MB250], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Edward Hibberd Johnson, June 2nd, 1889

Editor's Notes

"Yours of 16 May to hand. The money I have spent on Sprague patents in France independent of the two drafts you have sent to Brandon is about $2200. Will give you a detailed statement of this as soon as I get a little settled. I have only just moved and all my effects have been in the Storage Company for the last 12 months. Shall be able to get at the papers in a few days. In regard to the question of your letter, I must remind y ou that I have never asked that the money I have spent on Sprague pat be refunded to me. As to my choice for having the money refunded to me with interests or a rearrangement of the understanding between us I should decidedly prefer the former if agreeable."
