Title
[MBLB4364], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Philip Seubel, November 22nd, 1882
Editor's Notes
Much surprised to learn when in Berlin that you had written Rathenau that the E machine wasn't worth a damn. We agreed to try to improve it; you weren't authorized to say it's no good. The E machine built here runs perfectly @ 2200rpm with no heating of bearing and little sparking. Continue to hear excellent results from Brunn. Lists money which TAE has advanced to Mrs Seubel ($369). How do you propose to pay this, so I can tell TAE. Please send me copy of central station estimate.
