notes on globe lined inside & coated outside with Pt foil; "Globe lined inside & coated outside with platinum foil The inside part having pitch ball coated with platina on one wire which made contact with inside coating the other wire to be connectec with outside coating." other globes with Pt foil reflectors. Fr 639 "Condenser of tinfoil & mica several [???] 3 to 7 layers foil, fastened with shellac & gum {???] which volitilized & deposited on carbon changing resistance greatly"; globe with revolving magnet outside. Descriptions, but no explanations.
