Notes & sketch on electric motor. "An iron core suspended in a helix, as the current varies so will the magnetic attraction very tilging the beam up or down shunting the current from one [?] to the other on chemical paper." Fr 320 variation is variation on this beam motor or switch: "two air tight chambers, the currrent being passed through causing the air to expand acting on diaphgram that acts on lever shunting the current in the first one then vice versa." Fr. 321 variation using expansion of Pt wire. Fr 322 "a spiral of wire enclosed in an airtight chamber and offeringt surface resistance to heat when the current flows, and expanding the air to act on diaphgram which acts on lever and indenting on chemical paper."
