Title
[N223064], Technical Note, Francis Jehl, July 16th, 1881
Editor's Notes
Experiments putting iron pole(s) across dynamo magnets. Measuring voltage, which drops in several of the trials. Apparently he's putting an iron bar across the pole pieces, and not the top of the field coils; ie, this doesn't seem like a yoke or keeper. Talks about putting bars "across the poles."
