Bacteria observations on meat through 41 hrs. Testing bactericidal properties of HgCl2(?) solution on a pepsin solution. Results so anomolous (didn't kill bacteria) that tested ttested the Hg solution and made a new batch. It killed. MICROBE EXPERIMENTS continued same date p. 7---placed a small balck snake on evaporataing dish with GASOLINE. Dead in about 30 minutes.
