A series of experiments will now be carried on with this unipolar system, as the best results tend in this direction This appears to be very conclusive that this ist he right road and that in Fig 2 the lines of force are short circuited within themselves, but in Fig 3 are gradually drawn around and finally affected by the opposite pole giving a perfect separation [there are 3 drawings]
