Title

[PT014AAI], Letter from Dyer and Seely to U.S. Patent Office. Commissioner, December 31st, 1886

Editor's Notes

Correspondence involving the commissioner of patents' rejection of a patent for a "long flexible conductor extending over two or more cars," on the ground that it was no new invention to couple the plate condensers of Smith with the flexible cable nor did it present a new use of the reel above the English patent. Includes letter from Dyer & Seely to TAE to enclose docs on present state of claims and tracing of latest drawing.
