Title

[SB019008b], Clipping, New York Times, January 19th, 1889

Editor's Notes

A story has been put in circulation about a misunderstanding between TAE and Tomlinson over the sale of the phonograph patent. TAE was not satisfied with Tomlinson's doings, severed his relationship with him, and "instigated similar actions by the electric light company." "The rupture has been carefully concealed" until now. The North American Phonograph Company and its subcompanies are not implicated as the breach occurred before the parent charter was obtained in July.
