Title
[X154A5BP], Letter from Uriah Hunt Painter to Joseph Hutchinson, February 22nd, 1886
Editor's Notes
Engine folks did little today and made no effort to speed things along; they made no provision for a belt, though it's in the contract; they telegraphed for one today; I went all over town to find one; Le Prince was pretty mad; I told him we were ready & had no control over the engine job, though I had been "crowding" the engine men; our lamps are all up but 12, which will be ready by tomorrow; can you see what's going on about the belt and send one by messenger if needed? Wire me when you do.
