Editor's Notes
Yours of the 12th received. I tis not necessary for you to come here. I have bought the property for 95,000; the best I could do. They will pay 1250.00 rent and stay in as follows. We will take 3 floors in the beginning and they will give up another floor every three months. 625.00 or 1/2 of this rental will be paid in the taking of titles. This is a good arrangment for all, as we will not use the whole building at once and it give them an opportunity to settle up their business or look for another place in the meantime.##I paid $5000.00 when we signed the contract, day before yesterday, and 40,000.00 more is to be paid when we take title on Dec 20th. The balance 50,000.00 is on mortgage at 5% which they cay can be paid off at reasonable notice. I will therefore not need any money till Dec. 20th ##I also have the refusla for 60 days on the three adjoining lots for 35,000.00 for the three.##So everything is all right.Hoping to see you on Monday
