[X154A8CY], Letter from Sigmund Bergmann to Uriah Hunt Painter, October 31st, 1889

Editor's Notes

Yours of the 29th duly received. I saw Johnson yesterday, and he assured me that he wanted to make some arrangementsto come up with his share. ## I have had different interviews with Mr. Biddle, and I will report to you as soon as anything is done. Our sales of this month amount to over $30,000. If I can keep this up, I do not think we will need to put in any more money, as before long some of the money has got to come in. If Mr. Biddle does not do anything thsi week, I shall go ahead at once with our other scheme. I have had plans and specifications for the new building made, and as soon as I get some of the drawings back, I will send you one set complete. ## Do you ever see General Eckert? I have not heard anything about the perforators or repairing of them, and if I do not h ear very soon from him, I will be compelled to lay off some of the men who have been trained into this kind of work.
