This folder contains correspondence relating to the development of x-rays. The two selected documents are an exchange between Irwin W. Howell of the Edison Lamp Works and William H. Meadowcroft, Edison's personal assistant, regarding treatment for burns suffered by Meadowcroft on account of exposure to radiation.
Less than 10 percent of the documents have been selected. The unselected material consists of routine requests and unsolicited correspondence seeking advice or information about x-rays.
