This notebook is a continuation of N-19-11-04. It was used by Edison during the period December 1919-January 1920 in connection with his attempts to improve the plating solution used to make nickel-iron batteries, as well as the solution in the battery itself. Most of the entries describe numbered electrolytic and chemical preparations used in electroplating and contain notations regarding the condition of the plating on successive runs. Also included are descriptions and speculations relating to the electroplating processes involved in storage battery manufacture. A few entries pertain to the regeneration of old storage battery cells. The notes indicate that Elmer E. Dougherty and Sherwood T. (Sam) Moore assisted Edison and that matters concerning battery manufacture were brought to the attention of W. J. O\'Dair at the Edison Storage Battery Co. The front cover is labeled \"No 7 General Book Dec 6 1919.\"" The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 100 pages have been used."
