- "Have tried great many experiments to get a cheaper heating resistance than 3 lamps for Roselle meter but cant do it as cheap as lamps. Hence I think 3 lamps must be used in bottom. there will necessarily be a great many resistance lamps made owing to difficulty making this kind of lamp. Therefore its best to utilize them- the Lamp Co will furnish them for 35 cents each while the good ones will be 60 cents-- Can you give Bergmann the data to make a model as time is drawing near = also please furnish me with data as to size turns, etc of wire on K armature for 300 volts with 15 pct. loss on condr lamps 250 ohms each in series.-"
