[Letterhead: Cie Continentale Edison] You have not replied to the following letters as obliged under our treaty, which says TAE must communicate all designs, descriptions, and models to us to take out patents for all inventions and improvements###5 Dec, we asked for drawings of new 300 ampere dynamo [TAE Marg.: "they are ready Batch will send"] and for particulars for manufacturing plugs for cigar lighters [TAE Marg.: "not my invention"]; same day wrote for ratification of treaty for central station at Dijon; you cabled your ratification, but need letter [TAE Marg.: "Confirm by Letter"]; 11 Dec. asked ratification of treaty for central stations in Saint-Etienne, heard from Bailey that your board ratified but has not been confirmed by letter [TAE Marg.: "do"]; 15 Dec. and 5 Jan. asked for particulars of improvements in lamp manufacturing [TAE Marg.: "Upton wrote"]; also need to send new patents; 16 Dec., asked for drawings and details of manufacturing of new arc lamps manufactured by Machine Works [TAE Marg.
