- Editor's Notes
- Your favor of the 12 inst recd on readhing Hme. I had been away. In reply have to say I cannot go to New York at this time as I am preparing to start up some of my mines. You should of come on here to see me as you had promised. I could of then taken you over some Magnetic Ore ranges which I think would of pleased you.##By the way I wrote you a letter dated Dec 31st/88 in which I called your attention to a Magnetic Ore property on which the ore could be quarried. I find that quite recently Dr Hartzell and Geo. Gneiss of Alberta have secured it for the Edison party. Now this is the very property I wrote you about. I kept putting it off day after day expecting you on until finally they secured it.##I know of a few other places richer in rion than the Gilbert place (which is the one they have secured but the Ore must be mined. Now if you think it worth your while to come on to see these places I will go with you.
