Dolores, N. M. Oct. 16, 1900. Mr. T. A. Edison, Orange, N. J. Dear Mr. Edison :- The status of the work and the progress of the same since our last resort is as follows: - Shaft #9 Has been assayed and the report of it we send you today. " #13 being assayed. " #10 Has been separated and is being assayed. " #15 Sunk ten feet. Total depth 52 1/2 ft. " #16 Sunk fifteen and a half feet. Total depth 48 ft. " #17 Location near Lot 123 Started Oct. 11th. Down 20 1/2 ft. Rain has delayed the work considerably and on this account we can send you only a partial sample of Shaft 15.
