Letterhead of Law Offices of Eaton & Lewis
44 Broad Street (EDISON BUILDING)
New York
July 21, 1902.
Thomas A. Edison, Esq.,
Orange, New Jersey.
Mr. Edison:
In response to the letter which I wrote to Professor Crocker, and of which I sent you a copy, calling his attention to what was a slight apparent inconsistency in two of the statements of his original letter to you, I have received a reply from Professor Crocker, rather acknowledging the want of clearness in his former letter and enclosing a revision, which seems perfectly clear.
I hand you herewith the revised letter.
I have supplied copies of this correspondence to Mr. Betts, and await with much interest his report on the situation.
Yours truly,
Eugene H. Lewis.
