The Thomas A. Edison Laboratory,
Orange, N. J.
Dear Sirs:
Referring to the subject of the Blake rook crusher for use in your Laboratory, would say that we are in receipt of a second letter from Mr. Theodore A. Blake relative to this machine, and he attributes his delay in replying to our letter the fact that he has been ill and absent from business, and also the fact that he has transferred his crusher business to William Yagle & Co. of Pittsburg, Pa.
We are writing this latter firm under even date urging a prompt reply and expect to be able to furnish you with full information at an early date.
We very much regret that this delay has occurred but assure you it has been unavoidable as we are concerned.
Asking your indulgence until we can get further advice, we are,
Yours very truly
Manning, Maxwell & Moore.
