New York Jan. 14, 1903 Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Orange, New Jersey My Dear Edison: The Marooni Board of Directors met yesterday and adopted a resolution accepting the arrangement made with you by Major Flood-Page, whereby you are to receive $30,000 par value of the stock of the American Marconi Company and $30,000 in notes payable in yearly installments of $6,000 each, beginning two years hence. As soon as the certificates and the notes are ready, I will have them forwarded to you and obtain from you an assignment of your 1891 patent. Yours very truly, Eugene H. Lewis
