Because patent laws are so unsatisfactory they have bought up the pneumatic pen -- effort being made to patent on continent and Ireland wants TAE authorization to oppose -- Sends sketch of press (not found) -- our new ink is an immense improvement -- batteries are also working well and have advantage of portability [annotate with 13:992; see Maver pp. 17-18 re Fuller batty and mercury!]
