- Jenkins apologizes for leaving so abruptly the other day had to catch 3pm train for another appointment -- thanks for attentions at lab -- suggested to government attache that TAE be appointed one of Scientific experts to go to Paris exhibition in 1878 -- asks if TAE would like his name proposed -- Thinks phonograph should be patented in France and will play an important role -- asks to dleiver a report of it to a scientific society in Paris of which he is a correspondent
