Title
[D7802T], Letter from George Harrison Bliss to Thomas Alva Edison, January 21st, 1878
Editor's Notes
Sorry Painter crowd has cleaned Bliss out on phono; knew nothing of Painter option, but satisfied if TAE got good bargain -- phono so incredulous that people won't believe it except on sight -- Bliss had apparently set about establishing a company to sell both electric pens and phonographs -- Western Electric receiving large orders for Gray telephone -- Received letters from Beetle re European telephone, discusses situation -- Herz is a fraud
