Title
[D7802ZHX], Letter from William Henry Kirk to Thomas Alva Edison, April 17th, 1878
Editor's Notes
Recd TAE telegram but wants to see TAE -- has taken out a landlord's warrant on all the machinery in Murray's shop and as TAE has not removed his chattel mortgage Kirk can seize all machinery or enough to satisfy his claim -- hasn't recd a dollar in 17 months from Murray except a $200 check which TAE gave this month but not disposed to sell him out if he gets some of what due him -- would be to TAE advantage to pay Kirk no confidence in Murray paying those notes -- willing to meet with TAE at any time he wants
