Upon arriving from NY learns from Batch McCall had been there and suggested alterations in engine, which TAE considered "practical as it stands and in such shape that any intelligent mechanic can make them, or change it as may be desired. We have no time to waste here on such details." -- this prob refers to kerosene lamp engine
