Haskin Pope had intended to bring up the Edison-Hughes controversy before last meeting of Amer Elec Society in order to secure endorsement of Priest [also spells it Pries--means Preece] as an honorary member of Society; Bliss feels TAE had many friends there who would not have taken kindly to it; wants copy of papers re Preece comments on microphone
