- Title
- [D7820P], Letter from Grosvenor Porter Lowrey to Thomas Alva Edison, September 28th, 1878
- Editor's Notes
- I have not received a notification from Mr Edson of MOndays meeting. My impression is that they prefer not to talk with me in advance of our coming together. I am quite convinced that it will be most for your interest and mine, in dealing with them, that I should act with and for you, entirely; and I shall therefore decline to be interested, and will approach the whole matter from your side of the business. I will be at my office at ten o'clock on Monday morning. I think you should come here before seeing either of them, that we may confer, and that I may inform myself, a little more fully, as to the terms which were proposed. You can then call upon Mr Edson and return with him to my office.
