Title
[D7829G], Letter from Bernard Bigsby to Thomas Alva Edison, January 31st, 1878
Editor's Notes
Prof. Bernard Bigsby writes that previous night he lectured before a large audience at Saratoga will send newspaper account of lecture -- noticed article in NY Times re phono exhibition and supposes TAE has decided not to let him have one, feels TAE has not sufficiently trumpeted phono -- appears to be connected with Bliss and to have had prior communication with TAE, including doing a biography -- feel TAE would have made more money on phono with him involved
