- Re complaint by Johnson that Bentley is showing phono publicly he states that he has not done so since TAE informed him of delicate position (I presume his arrangement with EHJ) except at the Fraklin Institute before the Phonetic Society which had been previously promised and did not show it as Mayer wanted to the Wagner Institute -- thinks phono too big to be "pit alongside any `Show' only to be spoken of in that light" says will purchse pohono for personal use when available -- Bentley states that TAE can count on him to not do an injustice
