Reynolds who organized Bell Co in London had letter of intro from General Palmer to Gouraud on some other matters and they discussed telephone business and Reynolds opposed to legal action by Bell Co until other avenues explored; Gouraud told him TAE transmitter with new receiver absolutely independent of Bell
