- Encloses letter from Herz (not found). Hears good things about Herz from Latham & Preece; wants to renew contract with him for continent. Send someone to NY for new edition of Telephone etc. Wants to publish drawings of EL; when can he have them? Preece writes that Quad worked well thru bad weather. P also sending paper to Phil Mag claiming that lamps will diminish in intensity whether in series or parallel. TAE marg: "All right I am willing to renew the contract"
