Title
[D7903ZAM], Letter from William Fletcher Barrett to Thomas Alva Edison, February 4th, 1879
Editor's Notes
Has TAE seen papers about his Manchester lecture? "Attacked in some quarters for supporting you in regard to the Telephone;" see Teleg Jurn, London, with statements by Hughes on microphone. Needs more carbons since only 3 or 4 of those sent arrived safely. Giving another lecture. Will get friends to invest in new Irish Edison Teleph Co. Thanks for Graphic article on new radiant energy. Sent that one to London Times and would like another. More readable copy of this letter follows on film.
