- Long newsy letter. Look after carbon buttons. Some transmitters no better than magneto; bad buttons are the cause. Phono for Auerbach(?). Business "dull." P.S. Have you seen Morton in N.A. Review? "I think Prof Morton can be very effectically sat upon." Tried Blake transmitter; doesn't work well. Hears WU reviving auto telegph machines; is this due to DH Craig? Summary of correspondence about Craig and ability "to foist worthless things upon practical men by straightforward downright lying." Sharpe is coming to visit; wants to meet TAE. Tillotson & WElec trying to push Bermann out of phone business.
