Title
[D7903ZKC], Letter from Edward Hibberd Johnson to Thomas Alva Edison, October 30th, 1879
Editor's Notes
Long, newsy letter. Went with Applebaugh for long interview with Preece and is "in" with him. Will write later on microphone controversy; "it is not unlikely you have gone somewhat astray on [Preece]; proposes having Whitehouse make independent inquiry. EHJ can help with ELight in England. "Things are moving but under a cloud of nausea of playing out of chalks. Everything grows weak--have frequently to change chalks 2 or 3 times a week."
