Title

[D7929ZDY], Letter from George Bartlett Prescott to Thomas Alva Edison, September 15th, 1879

Editor's Notes

Doesn't pay to go into interfence with Short because Co. has already purchased patent. Weaver says he'll try to hurry Pat Offc on Quad. He declines 10% for his services; will take 5%. 2 marg notes: "good for Weaver. I shall certainly go on with the interference as I cannot withdraw. I of course have nothing to do with what Mr Short has done with the Co as I knew nothing about it. I shall only follow out my contract and if Shorts instrument is worth 3000 dolls & I get priority of invention I shall want pay for what I had previously invented." "Hold this until Banker comes Wednesday."
