Title
[D7937ZCJ], Letter from J H H Willcox to Thomas Alva Edison, September 9th, 1879
Editor's Notes
Interested in telephonic transmission of symphonic music. Believes sound of single instrument can be sent successfully, but how about sounds of 50 or more? What about singing? Marg: "Any number of instruments can be played and each will be heard through the telephone. I know of no difficulty at present if the chemical telephone is employed."
