- Saw Banker morning of departure but no time to see TAE. Position re: Bell; thinks deal with Bell cheaper than competition. Banker's plans for Europe not feasible because Continent rapidly taking shape. Combination with Roosevelt desirable. Outlines proposal to Banker for Australia/NZealand. Don't say anthing about Bell matter to anyone but Banker. Calculates amts due TAE from various parties for French pats. [Long letter].
