- Title
- [D7941ZBY], Letter from Charles H Walton to Thomas Alva Edison, June 10th, 1879
- Editor's Notes
- Statements repeated in TAE's letter are false. Was Chief Operator at G&S, not clerk. Only moderate drinker. "The reaons for cancelling the arrangement are very weak--I am aware of the true cause and am satisfied to drop the matter..." Marg: "The causes which I state are the only ones. I was very glad to get you but upon the information recd I was bound to act. If the information was not true, then it is the work of your enemies, but as I have not means whatever of judging I was compelled to do as I did. Mr. Trombly has informed me that you will be reinstated."
