- Father understands you have possible method of converting iron to steel cheaply, & would let someone investigate it. What arrangements can be made? Marg: "Grif this is John W Garrett, Presd B&O RR big gun. Write and say that I have kept the matter in mind since I saw your father and that as soon as I can get rid of my light which will be about 6 months that we will confer together with a view of going into some preliminary experiments to determine whether it is best to proceed."
