- Now has 4 series of 45 Fuller cells; operating 3 lamps brighter than gas. Can't afford battery to operate other lamps TAE sent. Wm Thomson's gravity trays have too much resis. Doesn't want Siemens mach. Thomson, Tyndall & all the big guns will be in London in May; can't you send dynamo so I can show lights? When is Batch coming? Heard that Muirhead was in Menlo and thought you'd made little progress--vacuumm problems. What did he say to you? PS Gouraud won't lower himself to "speak to `an ungrateful dog'" to ask to see Light.
