- "Look out for Prof Barrett" who published claims of discoveries regarding chalk cylinder. I replied; now he's sore at me & you. Barrett saw Waugh and claims to have shown him imopssibility of getting more than 3 lamps/HP. Did you give Waugh some lamps? Don't risk giving it to anyone not committed to you; failure of 1 light would be broadcasted through England. If Barrett got one from Waugh he might sabotage it. "Refer these people all to me."
