Only got TAE's note of 22 Jan on Wed. eve (28th) "You know I would not for a moment ask you to draw upon your wife" or borrow against e.l. stock; have postpoend needs for few days since expect very soon to get settlement w. Twombly, but may need loan. "Have just bade EHJ goodbye. He is one at least whose ability & faithfulness have not disappointed us." encloses EHJ's testimony
